We are doing a project on Low Brith Rate in Singapore

Introduction

We are a group of pupils from PeiCai Secondary School who will be going out to the shopping mall to find out to investigate more things about how u think about low and high brith rate in Singapore . We are in groups of four. Will be going to shopping mall to interviewed about 5 to 10 people to find out more about the causes and impact of low birth rate in Singapore. We will be going around Nex mall to find out.... and at Hougang mall.

Methodology

We will be asking them our survey questions and write down their responses.

We asked the following questions:

1) Why do you think people in Singapore are not giving brith?

2) What makes you make to have children?

3)Why do you think the governmet is so concern about have a low brith rate?

4) Why do we need to worry about having a low brith rate?

5)What do you think can happen if Singapore continues to have a low brith rate?

6)What do you think governmet can do to encourage people to give brith to more childern?

7)What can government can do to encourage you to have more children?

8)Show some of the suggested solutions that you have researched, and ask for opinion.E.g. Last week article gave 10 possible strategies. Which one of these would you think will work/will not work? Why?

Results & Analysis

Out of the four people interviewed, four were already married , none of them was not married.

The first people that we interviewed have two children.She think that more live a family have a family nucleus.She wants to have children because a country without Sufficient citizen nobody

and not enough sufficient economics,because now a day giving baby bonus and increase of maternity leave and give professional childcare center so they will be safe to put their children in there.And the second person that we interview have seven children,they scared there is high expansion,they love their children to contribute Singapore economics because they say that too much foreigners in Singapore they wishes that the government contribute more skillful and professional workers. The third people that we interviewed have three children they scared they give birth underage they wishes that can follow up the family business because they scared the foreigners take over their jobs and houses and foreigners will take over to enhance our jobs give them more scientific

Conclusion

In conclusion, we found that actually more people wanted to have children, but they do not want to have more than 1-3 children due to the high cost of living in Singapore. The government can help by giving more and contribute more professional childcare centers

we had learnt from this project about Singapore high and low birthrate. It is very tough and not easy to communicate and interview people as some people will be rude to us that we asked this questions but some of the people very cooperative with us from this project we learnt more about Singapore high and low birth rate. i enjoy the part when i interview the people because we can know more about the high and low birth rate . some are married and some single.Some still single don't wan to have child bacause they scared that they cant have enough money to buy milk for their baby .

Adeline

i have enjoyed the interview with my groups at the canteen beacause i was asking question and my groups all was recording what the person said so that we can write it at blog .

XueTing

i have also enjoy the interview part cause i really feel that it can help us learn more thing from them and another people . we have ask some married and some are not married .we want to compare see whether the married one pefer to have more childerns and the single want pefer to have less children a not .

Wendi

i enjoy the typing part because i was helping to type what my groups get the information and while they were interviewing people i was searching for more information see whether can put more things about low and high birthrate.
